2. What we collect and why

Server log files

When you visit this site our hosting provider automatically records technical information your browser
transmits to us, including IP address, referring URL, pages visited, browser and OS, and the timestamp of the request.
This is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating and securing the site).
Logs are retained for no longer than 14 days unless required longer for security incident investigation.

Cookies & similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work (session, CSRF, consent state) on the basis of
Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Optional cookies (analytics, advertising, embedded media) are only set after you give
consent via our cookie banner on the basis of §165(3) TKG 2021 and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw
that consent at any time — see our Cookie Policy for the full list and
opt-out instructions.

Contact form / email

If you contact us via email or a contact form we process the personal data you send us (typically name,
email address, message) for the sole purpose of answering your request, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b)
GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling enquiries).
We retain these communications for as long as is necessary to handle your request and thereafter as long
as required by statutory retention obligations (typically 7 years under Austrian tax law).

Comments

If you post a comment we store the submitted text, your chosen display name, email address (not publicly
shown), the submission timestamp, and your IP address for spam detection. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Comments are retained until you or we delete them.

3. Advertising & analytics

Google AdSense & Google Ad Manager

This site may use Google AdSense and/or Google Ad Manager, advertising services provided by
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google and its partners
use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where consent has
been given. The data collected may include IP address, browser and device information, interactions with
ads, and inferred interests. Personalised advertising is only enabled after you consent via our cookie
banner; without consent you will still see ads but they will be non-personalised (contextual). Legal basis:
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

You can review and manage your advertising preferences at any time at
myadcenter.google.com
and learn more about how Google uses data at
policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Google Analytics

Subject to your consent, this site may use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage. Google Analytics uses
cookies to generate anonymised statistics about how visitors use the site. IP anonymisation is enabled
where available. You can opt out at any time by withdrawing consent in the cookie banner or by installing
the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on:
tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. International data transfers

Some of the services above (Google in particular) may transfer personal data to recipients in the United
States. Such transfers are safeguarded by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply,
by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR) together with
additional technical and organisational measures where needed.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15);
  • request rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16);
  • request erasure of your data (Art. 17);
  • request restriction of processing (Art. 18);
  • receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21);
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal (Art. 7(3)).

To exercise any of these rights contact us at
contact@revmedia.lol.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular the
Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde (DSB).

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processing or legal
requirements. The current version always lives at /privacy-policy/ and
